We are passionate about interiors. We believe that our physical environment impacts our daily lives and that everyone deserves to live in a beautiful space. Inspiring, designing, and collaborating with our clients and customers, we want to optimise the look and functionality of your home and your enjoyment of it.
Helen Turkington is considered one of Ireland’s leading interior designers, with an impressive portfolio of clients both domestically and abroad. With a career spanning over thirty years, Helen has worked on some of the most prestigious properties in Ireland, the UK, Portugal and further afield and is often named by industry press as one of Ireland’s most influential and best-known interior designers.
Helen has always been synonymous with quiet luxury, long before it became a widely used phrase. Her signature style of understated but unmistakable opulence and elegance, marries comfort with sophistication for enduring, elevated, timeless design. Her level of repeat business is a testament to the quality of her work and her understanding of clients’ needs.
Helen was born into a well-known family interiors business in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Her mother was an interior designer and her obsession with fabrics is in her DNA. Having worked in London for ten years in the nineties, she expanded her horizons and grew her own reputation in the international industry.
Helen established her iconic eponymous brand 21 years ago with a boutique store in Ranelagh. Due to demand, the business moved to a 12,000 square feet destination showroom in Stillorgan in 2017. With a highly successful bricks and mortar store as well as an online business, Helen has proved herself to be a strategic businesswoman as well as a talented interior designer. To this day she remains very hands on in all aspects of the business and the principles she learned firsthand on busy Saturday afternoons in Cookstown all those years before remain – she is passionate about helping people love the space they live in that little bit more, whether that’s through the purchase of a single lamp or a total home renovation.
Our design team offers thoughtful, tailored and highly personalised design. We meticulously optimise space to create unique homes.
The Helen Turkington store in Stillorgan, County Dublin, is a 12,000 sq ft treat for the senses.
